Introduction

CSET: Writing Skills is composed of two constructed-response questions that assess a candidate’s ability to write effectively.

The structure of the examination is shown in the tables below.

*One of the constructed-response questions asks candidates to analyze a given situation or statement. The other asks candidates to write about a specified personal experience. Candidates are not expected to demonstrate any specialized knowledge in their responses.
